This elm was cut some time ago…
The outline of the stump struck me almost as a 3-D Rorschach test. It reminded me of a chalk outline. Maybe something the tree detectives would have drawn upon finding the elm cut down. Anyway, I liked the image of rebirth, created by that the apparent elm shoot, in the upper left.
